Lindsay Jones 

 



Lindsay Jones is an American-born artist, actor and designer dividing her time between the New York Hudson Valley and New York City. She has worked with artists 'Aneta Bartos, Richard Kern, and Terrence Koh,Leah Schrager, and Martynka Wawrzyniak in adjacent roles as both artist and muse. As well as being featured in a series of portraits by artist Richard Prince, she had a prominent role in director Larry Clark’s film “Marfa Girl” which won the Golden Marc’Aurelio Award at the Rome Film Festival in 2012. Her most recent acting role was in “Promiscuities”, a film by director Jonathan Leder, which premiered in September of 2014. Lindsay was also featured in the US Playboy December 2014 issue with a 6 page story on herself as a muse. Lindsay is a classically trained sculptor and has recently been working in computer rendered art and video as a way to expand upon her background in 3D. Lindsay had a recent Duo show at Superchief Soho Gallery with renowned feminist artist Leah Schrager February 27th- March 5th 2016 Curated by Lindsay. Lindsay had a group show at Superchief Gallery LA April 2nd- 14th 2016. Lindsay is also curating the Summer group show at MAMA gallery in Los Angeles, June 2017.

As a designer, Lindsay is seasoned and versatile. She studied fashion in school in New York and after graduation she understudied with Miguel Adrover to fine tune her skills. She also built her career in "maison couture", working with Zac Posen and Marc Jacobs. Her debut spring/summer collection for her former brand Outlaws of the Border received rave reviews from publications, being praised by Japanese Vogue for "brilliantly blended Victorian elegance with Goth taste." More recently, Lindsay has launched her new brand, Músed, as well as working extensively with recent CFDA Vogue Fashion Award winners Gypsy Sport, and assisting in product development and design with cult streetwear label Whatever 21 as they have prepared for shows with Google Fashion Plus Mexico City and at the Whitney Museum of Art.
